I went on holiday and my friend asked me to buy him some alcohol from over there. He's quite young, younger than me, but old enough to drink lol.
However, I rarely hear from him, and the fact is, unless I REMIND him that he asked me for it, then he won't even remember.
I paid good money to buy that alcohol, so the suggestion that I would just drink it myself is folly, as I don't want the drink myself and need to be repaid in some form.
Is it a bit desperate to email/PM him and REMIND him: "oh by the way I've got your drink here"? Surely if I need to do that, I am basically proving that he isn't worth the favour in the first place?
Bought something for mate on holiday - he's forgotten he asked for it Watch

It's not desperate at all it just sounds like you are just genuinely reminding him? I don't see the issue
