# C3 exam question (Jan 2008) edexcel watch

1. On question 3 I can do parts A and B but for C I don't understand what to do, and the mark scheme didn't seem very helpful.

Choose a suitable interval, given that you require the answer to 3dp, and show that there is a change of sign in the usual way.

Which part do I sub the two values into? Everything I've tried has come up with two positive values

You haven't got the correct f(x) on that page.

This is how they got that iteration formula btw.
