Hello I also have an offer from HYMS.. Unfortunately it was my only offer so I am definitely going there! Still grateful that I received atleast one offer though! And well done you for getting two! By the sounds of it, HYMS has fantastic teaching standards, with very high staff:student ratio, and the style of teaching ensures that all the students fully understand the topics. Although it wasn't my first choice of Uni I think it'll be a fantastic place to study, and I think if you were to choose HYMS it would be a decision that you wouldn't regret... Because by the sounds of it you seem to prefer smaller, more close-knit unis so HYMS sounds like it would suit you well! If I compare HYMS to all the unis I visited on open days and for interviews, everyone (including staff and students) at HYMS was so welcoming and friendly - much more so than any of the other unis I visited. Just seems like at HYMS they genuinely really care individually about all of their students. And as for Durham... I don't really know too much about it but I do know that it is also a brilliant medical school with great teaching facilities. Hope I've helped.. kind of

Thank you for the advice that's very helpful and well done on your offer. I am very torn but need to decide soon. As you say either is a good option for me. Thanks again.
