Can anyone show me what to do?

p(G) = 0.35
p(G∩H') = 0.2
p(H'∩G') = 0.3

Show whether or not H and G are independent

Are you aware of how to prove whether or not an event is independent?

Umm, not really. Is it p(G|H) and p(G) and if they're different they're not independent?

If two events are independent, then the multiplication rule applies. That is to say P(A∩B)=P(A)+P(B).

I guess you could also take the route of showing that if they're mutually exclusive, they can't be independent.
