    Hi Gail,

As long as your daughter's been resident within the EU for the last 3 years we will classify her as UK student. All UK nationals have the 'right to roam' within the EU and still be classed as British being from the UK.

Please note that she will need to be resident in the UK before 1 September of this year to qualify for student finance though.

    Hope this helps,
    Mark-Lee

Thanks. So even to qualify for a tuition loan she would need to be in the UK before 1 September?

    Hi Gail,

    Yes that's correct.

    Thanks,
