I tried for LSE this year for Economic History and got rejected. Im taking a gap year, the requirement is AAB and I am hopefully going to get AAAB (A/B in EPQ) (maybe some A* if I really push myself). I study: GEO,ECON,ENGLISH LIT AND ENGLISH LANG at Alevel) and got A*3A's and 6B's at GCSE (not great I know) I will hopefully get some workexperience in my gap year and do some other productive stuff. What are my chances? Id really appreciate any feedback, cheers

LSE is kind of weird, meaning they don't care about your grades so much as they care about your personal statement and work experience. My friend who had a predicted 40 out of 45 in the IB was rejected and another friend who had a predicted 37 but who had a lot of work experience and a effective personal statement was accepted. If you're not sure you're going to make it with the grades concentrate on the other stuff!
