Most colleges seem to place their graduate students outside the actual college grounds, in building around the city. Are there any that actually place graduates within the college itself? The reason I'm asking is because I want the full Cambridge experience by living within the traditional college grounds.

Generally not in the 'traditional', by which you just mean old colleges, no. They tend to only have 100 or so rooms in the central quads and keep them for first year undergraduates.
