Relatively new to the city and not going to a University that I like and don't find that I resonate on the same wavelength with almost all of the people in my classes.
Are there any other portals of making connections with other 'normal' people, preferably boys...
Like sports, travelling, business and living the good life.
Hope this give you all an idea.
I see potential friends in public places, on tube etc. and our hearts resonate, we both know it, but alas the context is not right. So any strategies on how to get create or find the right setting are greatly appreciated also.

You're a guy, right? To clarify, are you gay and want a boyfriend?
(I'm in London and other unis are happy to let me go to their events which means you can meet people outside your personal uni.
Sports clubs is a good one and music groups if that's what you're into.
Meetup.com has big social groups (and plenty around London) but it may have more older people than uni students.
