    Hiya,

I'm Starting college in september and im looking at options for after.

Im thinking of studying Accountancy course at Portsmouth uni which requires 280 ucas points.

The Course i am doing at college involves:

    Btec Diploma in Business

Im doing the 12x60 hour units which is anywhere from 80-240 ucas points

I am also doing the AAT level 2 element.

I was just wondering how many ucas points level 2 offers ( accounting ) as i can only find values for level 3.

Also how would i make up ucas points if i was say 50 short ?

    Cheers

    Tommo

Hmm.. I'm doing Level 2/3 in one year, I think our tutor told us it's 80 points for one level, BUT I cannot guarantee this is accurate..I start school in a week, I can ask my tutors again if you can wait.
UCAS Tarrif table says it's 160 for level 3 ....

Or you can just email their department and ask, I suppose you want to know right away

if you're short of points, you can do level 3 AAT or the IFS Diploma in finance...but that would require another year of study.
Maybe try and ask someone at student services for advice ?

ok, another idea. Try and email the AAT directly. Sorry about the fragmented answers
