    Hi, i am currently on the first year of a course at college paid for by student finance. However, i am dropping out at the end of the first year and changing to a 4 yr placement course at a university will i still be funded for all of this? also how do i go about re applying this year for finance do i start a new form or go through my original account?

    Hi Ivy,

    Every student is entitled to one extra year of finance that can be used for false start. This means that you'll still be entitled to a full degree of student finance.

    You will need to indicate that you are withdrawing from your current course and reapply using the same customer reference number for your new course.
