The Jobseekers' Programme has asserted that I'm entitled to feedback on my applications, but so far only one employer has complied and the rest claim that, 'due to the high volume of applications we are unable to give you any personal feedback'.
How are we supposed to improve in that case? Confused..

Entitled to ask. Very few, if any, actually will.

Very few will even get in touch to say you've not been successful with an application, let alone say why. It's just the way the system works these days. Companies really don't care.

nearly all applications through the universal jobmatch I have sent have resulted in zero feedback. I always ask for feedback but never get any.

Yes, I get that impression. The employer who offered me feedback in an email actually phoned me up afterwards and talked to me about my application and possible improvements I could make.. for as long as I wanted. This has only happened with one company, and it's sad that it's reached the point where I'm stunned that anyone would care enough!
