1. If L1= line one and L2=line 2 in Rn

Then for the direction of the L2 to be the same as L1, do all the direction vectors (ie the vectors with the non-leading variables from the reduced row echelon form) have to be scalar multiples of each other or is any one pair enough?

I'm not an undergraduate, but I would have thought all the direction vectors would have to be the same because otherwise they wouldn't be parallel
