Does anybody know any good, cheap teeth whitening gel/whatever I can get?

Or if not, any good cheap alternatives to whitening teeth?

    Thanks

If you know what you're doing PolaNight.

If you don't know what you're doing, go to the dentist or face having your gums bleached and chemically burned by somebody who does not know what they're doing and is practicing illegally.

To really whiten your teeth you will need to use bleaching products. Other gimmicks are a waste of time. Whitening toothpastes can help maintain white teeth, but they wont magically whiten them really.

I used to use a toothpaste called Beverley Hills Smile (or something similar) and everyone commented on how white my teeth were. Plus everyone else I know who has used it has said the same thing. If you want to give that a try then it's about £3-4 in places like Superdrug.

If you want to actually bleach your teeth, I would recommend going to a dentist and paying for the treatment, as doing it yourself and getting it wrong can be really bad for your teeth. Also, a lot of home kits are supposedly quite bad for you in general.

All toothpastes help remove surface stains, because they contain mild abrasives. Among the newest whitening products available are whitening rinses. Like most mouthwashes, they freshen breath and help reduce dental plaque and gum disease.
