So I'm from England, and If I went to B'ham I wouldn't have to move out of home.. It would be fairly easy to get to Uni.. and the course would be 3 years as opposed to the course at St.Andrews which is 4/5 years.
I'm going to be studying English
I don't know what to do.. Move away or stay near home.
I know St. Andrews is a better University, and I'd get loads out of my degree.. but I'd have to pay for accomodation and all extra's that come with living away.
I've been really excited about moving away for a long time.. now its closer to the time.. I'm getting more worried about it all.
One of the biggest worries I have is the total debt I'l be in.. which would be in around £60-70,000 altogether. Is it worth is for a world class degree, at a University as prestigious as St. Andrews?
I also really want to learn the life skills that comes with living on my own.. but don't know if this is worth it, especially for a degree that comes with no security of employment.
All in All.. I'd really appreciate your thoughts/idea's..
