I have applied to study Geography next year and have the offer of 3 A's from Leeds, and 2 A's and a B from Manchester. The problem is I do not want to rule Manchester out by putting Leeds (I am really hoping to get 3 A's and am predicted 1A* and 2A's).

What are your views on the two uni's in terms of repuation for job prospects but also for a good student life?? I really don't know what to do!!!
    Thank You xxx

Your grades are brilliant, so thats not a problem. One thing couod be the distance, im not sure where you live but for me Id like a university which
is located nearby not having to travel far. In this case its either bradford/manchester. From what ive seen Manchester is a top university and is the most applied so it is clearly popualr.

As for Leeds, again a good university, dont get me wrong but as it is in comparison id favour manchester university.

if it's for geography, leeds without a doubt. everyone says it's the best course!

I'm firming Leeds and am considering Manchester as an insurance however I didn't visit it, i've heard from numerous people the department isn't as nice as Leeds, is there any point putting it down?
