basically got an AAA offer from dream uni but my recent English coursework has been a bit of a shambles and I'm worried I'm not going to make the A i need in English no matter how good i get in the exam.

Could i email or phone the uni and like.. negotiate my offer to A*AB or A*A*B ... i know that sounds like an arrogant/pretentious thing to do but I really want to go and am so upset if this dumb coursework (the only thing I've done bad on in my 2 years of a level) holds me back

it's bristol by the way, for history.

Wait until you get your results.

So long as your results are above ABB, you stand a good chance of being admitted anyway, although I couldn't comment on Bristol given that UCAS made the evasive decision not to release application statistics for this cycle.

On results day, if they haven't already accepted you, give them a ring and yes, you can negotiate with them, providing they have spaces

Ach, maybe speak to them about it but don't bargain with them. It might be better to just explain the situation, where you are standing in your subjects, and ask what would happen if you got A*AB or even AAB instead?

Ask them what their policy is on such things, but it's too early to start bartering with such things really.
