Doctors and Nurses, GP Receptionists: Life's Gatekeeper's Power trip

So they do hold the power of life and death for a patient, this footage of:

"Furious doctor interrupts cringing David Cameron's photo-op at NHS"

You can see the power trip and arrogance that some doctors can have, nurse's neglect of patients have been highlighted by Mid Staff and other hospital failings, Gp receptionists are the gate-keepers to the doctors, so they don't 'have' to be nice and warm to you when you're on death's door, desperate for help. Also heard that doctors think they are better than nurses, so the hierarchy impacts on how nurses are treated with regard to them having opinions about stuff they know but are overriden simply by being a nurse!

So it begs the question, does being in medicine make you have a power trip and arrogance?

    FFS. No, it really doesn't.
