Which are the best methods of revising GCSE French listening and reading exams? Watch

    I need to know the best ways of preparing for French listening and reading exams. More towards the listening exams.

    It's going to sound obvious, but listening to French!

    Maybe you could record yourself speaking some of the sorts of phrases you expect to hear? If you're only at GCSE you're probably not advanced enough to get a lot from watching French films or listening to the radio, but that sort of thing can be a nice study break that feels a bit like work

    The other thing that both listening and reading exams really rely on is a wide knowledge of vocab. Try different ways of learning it - I used to have post-it notes all over the house with little phrases and their translations on them just to remind me constantly. Also try writing little sentences so you get used to the vocab in context, and of course test yourself from any vocab lists you have.

    Hi I'm taking listening and reading exam this summer for the exam board WJEC. I have printed out the spec of the course which includes the main vocab and words.. I'm writing out the meaning of the words by using Google translator and just trying to memorize the vocab...
