I finish my final year exams on the 5th of June. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to sign a contract for a room until July so I'm stuck in Manchester for an extra month with nothing to do.

I need some ways to make myself more employable while I'm stuck there. What do you guys reckon would be the best thing to do? I could look for a job but what companies hire people that haven't yet got their results?

    Thanks in advance

Are you studying at UoM or MMU? I know MMU do a scheme called "MMU futures" whereby you sign up for language courses, engineering workshops, leadership events, volunteer projects... Etc. It's a way of padding out the soft skills in your CV. Maybe you could sign up for events like that?

I'm at University of Manchester. That's a good idea though, I'll ask them if they have anything similar
