concerned about university reply
Hi,
I sent an application to study Mathematics at Bristol (University of) on 17th November, 2012 and now (over four months later) have still not heard back from the university. UCAS states that generally universities are expected to reply by the end of March, which has recently passed. I am wondering whether or not it is necessary to email them about this as I am slightly confused as to when they will (finally) reply. Should I?

The "deadline" of March 31st is optional. They have until May 9th to reply 
There's no need to do anything at this point.
There's no need to do anything at this point.So you've waited this long for a response? Do something about it then, call and ask. 
As the poster above says - if you haven't heard anything then ring them up and ask when you'll be likely to have a decision.
