Popular methods of memorisation include mnemonics and the infamous "write it out XXXX times".

A good tip of improving recall would be to add another sense to your memory. Try colouring in your notes, listening to (new) music or even thinking up stories or funny anecdotes that you can connect to your notes. The mind naturally does not hang onto things it finds boring - such as endless lists of factors. So adding colour, sound, humour or even smell could help reinforce the facts into your mind.

Beyond all of that, sometimes learning things off by heart just takes time and familiarity. The reason most people know their times-tables is because they have had it drilled into their heads over and over again.
