    Especially over maths based courses.
Would they consider giving a place to someone who got A*A*AAAAAACCCC?
I know this will sound pathetic but I never bothered with the subjects I got Cs in as they were Art, French, Spanish and Citizenship,
If they are, what other unis are bothered about GCSE grades?

Bristol do take into consideration your GCSE results to form a decision. They do this by taking your 8 best GCSE results and assign a score to it. In your case the C's grades would be disregarded, so you would have a relatively good score. It is unknown however what weight this carries in the decision process (I can only assume a lower weight compared to other factors such as AS grades and predicted A2 grades).

I had 2C's in English and my school only do 9 gcses so one of the English grades must have been taken into account. But I still got an offer for mech eng.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
