    Hi,

I had the Nexplanon implant fitted in September 2011 I haven't had any problem with it until recently.

In the past week I have started to feel very tired and my breasts have become very, very sore, although nothing else in my lifestyle/sex life has changed significantly. I'm worried as this all came on rather suddenly and I have never had an issue previously and most websites/leaflets say side effects should be noticeable in the first few months if at all.

any adivce/similar experiences would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I have the implant too and I had it about the same time.
I get that every so often and then it goes a bit.
some times I get it like every month then it'll go for longer and come back for a bit.

I've just assumed that it's like a period. Some people I know still get their month periods and I'd rather get a bit of tiredness and tender breasts for a bit than a proper period.

If you're really concerned or it's going on for a while, go to your doctor.

Maybe go to your doctor? It may be nothing, but best to check. General appointment will only be 10 mins

I would suggest making an appointment with a dr or nurse that specialises in sexual health. I find that my GP is useless when it comes to issues to do with my implant.
