I will be travelling to and from london 5 days week.
I'll have to take 2 buses and one tube.
    I'm a student.
Is there any particular kind of oyster card that will benefit me/has advantages according to my situation?

Don't you have a student oyster card? So, you'll be living within London area? There's a 18+ student card http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14312.aspx which according to the website would save you some money. But I think it's only for buses and trams, you should just check the link

Pretty sure it's a travel card, which will include tubes and trains up to whatever zone OP pays for.

The discount is about a third off.
