Does anyone know which historian is credited with saying:

Amritsar was the massacre which destroyed the Raj
I'm reading a book which mentions the quote but only goes on to say that it was from 'a later historian'.

I was hoping to use this quote in my A2 Historical Enquiry, but a cursory google search hasn't turned up any results.

Has anyone else come across the quote before?

Google says the best bet is Alfred Draper. His 1981 book is called 'Amritsar: The Massacre that Ended the Raj.'
