What are the differences between them?
FWB : simply just for sex, no hope for anything else
Open relationship : you are in a relationship but you are ok with the idea that the other person can date others.... is that just like FWB then? or with a bit of hope that it would turn to a 'closed' one??

I though open relationship meant they could SLEEP with others, not date them?

Open r'ship: you are fine with the other having sex with other people
FWB: you're sleeping together but with no strings attached. However sleeping with others is usually frowned upon.

Depends, different people will interpret it different, better clarify with the person in question.
I thought FWB meant you'd be free to sleep with whoever, and a casual relationship is just that, casual, as long as the guidelines are spoken about beforehand/during there is no room for ambiguity, because in all honesty anything but a serious relationship or ONS is plagued with ambiguity.Last edited by SubAtomic; 04-04-2013 at 23:38.
