There are two courses C800 and C802 at Sheffield and I have been offered an unconditional place on the Ma course C802. Was just wondering the differences between the two from someone who knows, I gather one is more science based? And would it be possible to change on arrival?

    Cheers.

You mean BSc and BA, right?

The two courses look exactly the same to me. It matters very little, but I would rather do the BSc, as I think that a minority of people think a BSc is better than a BA, whereas the opposite is probably not true. This is possibly because for some courses that offer both, the BSc has more focus on science and statistics.

You should get in contact with the department to see if you can change. I would imagine that it would be okay.
