Recently I am thinking that the degree that I am on may not be for me (computer science) however if I choose to study a completely different degree next year will I miss September 2013 entry as I will have to re apply to ucas even though it would be in the same university or is there any way I can do it which will allow me September 2013 entry for a different course?

It 'may' be possible to change courses within the same university without having to go through UCAS, depending on the universities procedure for doing this. I think it would be best to talk to your tutor, or a university career advisor or admissions tutor, and ask them about the possibility of doing so and what the process would involve.

As the person above said, speak to your tutor. Often universities will allow you to switch internally right up to when you get your end of year results. Just make sure you've made the correct decision, so don't rush into anything - student finance will only halp with one extra year of study.
