The way i usually come across useful extracurricular activities such as qualifications and societies is by way of word of mouth; so i was wondering if we could get some sort of list established here of some of the cream out there?
I understand one qualification relevant to Consulting may be useless to those in Banking, but as long as some of the best of each are mentioned, i'm sure this thread will prove useful.
The only 2 i know of (i believe the CFA to be valuable in the job market but i am not too clear when it comes to the RES):
CFA - asset management/portfolio management/banking
Royal Economic Society
And actually passed?
