Recently started dating for the last month or so and I've known for 5-6 years through friends of friends. We would meet up go on dates for dinner and I'd sleep over when I was free from uni. She recently went abroad for a month, I was supposed to go out but through one reason or another I won't be.

My problem is that not only I'm really missing her ... But I'm paranoid she could get up to all sorts ... I just wanna know how people cope with missing someone for this period of time ... Baring in mind she's only been gone for 10 days lol.

You need to have more trust in her. If I were her I'd be offended that you think I'd cheat on you.

And if you have good reason not to trust her... well, doesn't sound like a healthy relationship to me.

Have you told her that you want to be exclusive?

The paranoia is just because you miss her so much, just got to remember that any paranoia you have is based on that and it should go away then. 10 days can actually seem a long time if you keep thinking about her! 3 days away from my girl and i was suffering big time. Two ways of trying to cope are to either keep yourself busy with other stuff ie work, going out with mates, games, any hobby of yours basically. The other i'd suggest is to look through messages the two of you shared, i'd say remembering them times will help with your paranoia of what she could get up to and help you to realise those thoughts are a load of crap. You could also try and look forward to a date where you'll next see her, it's a nice feeling being able to count down the days when you're coming up to the day you can see her again. Hope this helps man!

That's the thing ... We never really talked about being exclusive so really I can't complain if she did anything while away . I'll try get myself engrossed in something else and hopefully we'll be able to Skype ... Just hoping that I didn't ruin things by not making is exclusive :/
