I will be graduating at the end of June and have a job lined up that will be starting at the start of October but will I be able to claim jobseekers in the summer so that I have spending money?

I understand I will have to be actively looking for work and I will try and apply for some summer jobs but I was just thinking of a last resort. I can't find any information about claiming JSA if you have something lined up ...

As long as you can prove you are seeking work you should be ok.

You must be willing to take a temporary job during that time if one comes up.
