I have a dilema here. Basically, I am currently doing a UG in Food Science and am planning to go into business after. I think knowing the tech side is vital, which is why I am doing what I am, but my question is what do you reckon would be a better option for me to do after?
Forget about entrepreneurship programmes outside unis' for now (considering those already) and please don't write "go and start a business". I know this is the best option and I am working on it but I need a back up variant if it doesn't work out.
a)Do a UG in business
b)Do a MA in business
c)I came across this - anyone heard anything about it? http://www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/programmes/...uirements.html
I know a diploma normally means you need work experience (5-10y) but I couldn't find any mention of it so I assume it's something different?
But really the question is: what is it that they teach you in business in UG and MA? I assume the latter would be more research oriented, wouldn't it? But at the same time UG is another three years, hell of a lot of time, isn't it. Which one is better for PRACTICAL things?
In terms of applications I appreciate that getting into PG would be easier, but also more expensive. Again, please leave all this out for now, I am only interested in the "usefulness" of doing one or the other. Also do state if you believe both are a waste of time and what you think is better.
Any opinion/experience is extremely welcome. I am trying to get this right and cannot overemphasise how important it is for me to do so.
Or does it play no part?
