    Hi guys,
Just want some advice on Lancaster university. Since Lancaster university has been on the rise in recent years, can it be regarded as a "prestigious" uni? Going to Lancaster will I have an equal opportunity to get a job at PWC or deloitte as someone from lse or UCL?

Deloitte are always trying to recruit people from Lancaster so I don't think that would be a problem. Lancaster is certainly on the up. Perhaps not considered 'prestigious' compared to older institutions. For its age it's doing very well, but it will take a fair few years for public perception to change from "that mid ranked university" to "that top ten university".

So it's probably not prestigious now, but in a few years I expect its reputation will have improved and could be nearly comparable to the big boys hogging the top end of the league tables.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
