I am currently revising for my GCSEs in the summer, the ones I want to concentrate on the most are my higher maths, higher biology (b2 i think) and my higher english, lit and language...I want to get an A in math, preferably and A in biology and preferably and A* in my english, are there any specific things I should be nailing in order to achieve these higher grades?

Past papers and mark schemes. Keep doing these and make sure you understand exactly where you went wrong. Then do the questions you got wrong again a while later, check to make sure you haven't made the same mistake.

Look through your specification textbook. Do the little summary questions to make sure you know the topic then move on, if you don't get them right then look over the topic and keep going. Use past papers when you've got a good grasp of the entire syllabus or for subjects like English where the questions are not knowledge based.
