earlier this week, I was emerging from a car bay outside my uni and clipped an asian rudeboy types modified cars rear rim before a speed hump literally a few places from the bay (my car was literally half out of the bay before impact and I emerged slowly because a) i dont trust student drivers and b) safety first). he then starts swearing, threatening to beat me, a kind, god fearing bloke who has been described as a pushover, and shank me, prompting campus security to get involved and the police involved. despite me being calm and continuously apologising and saying let insurance deal with it.
An hour after this incident, I contacted the insurance people, surprisingly a few hours before him and filed a fault claim. I rang a few hours later and found out some interesting things about his claim. He claimed this happened half an hour later than it did, even though me, campus security and presumably campus security cameras recorded it at the time i stated. also he told the police it occured at a different time to his solicitors as well. More interestingly, he didnt inform the insurance people that he had illegal aftermarket parts (ie dark black tinted drivers side windows) as well as other aftermarket parts, and neglected to inform them that this happened before a speed hump. Today I got a letter from his solicitors and found more discrepancies, namely regarding the time the incident took place, and the fact that his insurance people have listed him as a sales rep, even though he is a final year uni student. Also he is claiming that he is suffering from whiplash despite my car bearing a greater impact on the driver position and my in car telemetry showing i was moving at a very slow speed (also my car has a 1Litre engine with a heavy bodywork and I myself weigh more than 15 stone, compared to him in a modified coupe with much bigger engine.
As this jerk is a stereotyped asian rudeboi (ie innit blads), and is likely to be taking the piss, lying, and i know for a fact his friends are involved in shady business, how do i deal with it?

Your insurance should handle this on your behalf. You should ask the security guard if he'd be willing to give a statement, as well as if the car park has CCTV.

If it does, you should be absolutely fine as it'll show the correct time, and the other drivers car modifications - which will void his insurance meaning that they then won't pursue.

Once you know if the car park has CCTV, and if the guard will make a statement, call your insurance company and tell them everything - that this guy is lying about his job, not mentioning modifications, and that he's even lying about the time of the accident.

would it be wrong to try and get the insurance people to contact my uni and determine that he is a student (he is a final year student meaning he spent at least 2 full years in uni).
I did tell them about the modifications (apparently were both with same company and he didnt declare) and will forward them the letter with the discrepancies made on his part. I will ask the insurance people to get in contact with security on campus to try and confirm when it happened.
also if you look at the damage sustained, the only way he sustained is if a) he had a previous scrape with someone, and b) if he was slower than me (who was going way less than 2 mph), suggesting he may have been breaking before the bump and speeding between bumps if i didnt see him the previous one (sadly insurance cant deal with that). the fact i was moving slowly and it was a low speed collision kinda makes his injury claim bull****. I felt more force when i applied the brakes than when our cars collided
