I ask because i find it difficult buying skinny jeans, I always have to size up or else the jeans wont fit around my thighs but then they are to big around the waist.

What do you prefer and do you buy a size up for skinny jeans?

Skinny jeans are just a different "fit" of jeans. The width and length should be the same as any other pair of jeans you buy. If you have to go up a size from what you usually wear then you're not actually wearing skinny jeans, not that's there anything wrong with that. Skinny jeans are admittedly uncomfortable if you get lousy denim, awkward proportions, and so on.

I wear an American 28, which I guess is around a UK 44. To me there's nothing more comfortable than a soft pair of skinny jeans that just mold perfectly around my legs. Slim straight is also nice but generally, skinny.

I always think slim looks better than skinny, especially if the guy has quite thin legs! Also, surely skinny isn't that comfortable if you're a guy? :blushing:
