Are 6a*s and 4a's good enough grades to get accepted into Oxbridge?

11A*s and 5As I got my picture taken+interview for the Sunderland Echo too and got number 1 in my year.

Do your As levels first then you can worry about these sort of things.

You wouldn't get into Oxford for medicine i'm afraid (they didn't accept anyone with less than half their grades at A* last year), and there are a couple of other GCSE-heavy unis to avoid. Plenty of other options for med school though. Although still below average, other courses at Oxford are a possibility too.

Thanks! Overall I got 7A* 4A and 1B! So happy, honestly couldn't believe it! Was really nervous yesterday with all that talk of gcse top grades falling!

* I'm happy about my results but I was one UMS mark off an A in art and 3 off an A* in English language, do you think I should get them re-marked? And do you think I could get an A or A* if I took history in a levels?
I got 5A* 2As 3Bs 1C

Gutted about the C, Anyone else have an issue with IGCSE english literature and Edexcel PE
Pretty happy with my results except geography :/

Physics: A
Biology: A
ICT: Distinction
R.E: A*
Geography: B
English: B

I got 318/400 UMS overall for geography and I was considering a remark. Do you guys think its worth it?

Hi guys i got 2A*, 6As and 3Bs (the Bs are in Eng Lang& Lit). Do you guys think those grades are still strong enough for Medicine? I am not thinki ng of Oxbridge obviously. More like Barts and St-Georges kind of places. Please leave your opinion I:
