I am transferring universities for my second year, i have spent my first year in halls, and i am not keen on doing it for a second year, so i will be looking for private accommodation at my new university, ideally sharing with other mature, phd/professional people.

I am a little lost on where to start looking for such accommodation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

1st stop should be your uni's accommodation office, they often have private houses or links to good agents. Also try checking out gumtree.
