Difference?

What is the difference between terms sustainable and renewable resources?

Does sustainable mean to use the Earth's resources in such a way that doesn't deplete the resources - future generations will also be able to use the resources too. So the usage of fossil fuels are unsustainable, in our world today, as they are being used as fast as they can be replaced.

And does renewable resources mean resources which can be replaced?

So crude oil cannot be used in a sustainable manner, and neither is it a renewable resource?

You got sustainable right but renewable is more like something that can be recreated, like growing trees.
Otherwise your definition says that even crude oil is renewable since it can be "replaced", however once you've used it all up, you can't recreate it.
