    me and my friend are going to benicassim this year and was wondering a few things...
    are you allowed to take alcohol into the campsite area? i heard that you can buy cheap alcohol from one of the towns but not sure if you can take it in to the festival?
    also where is the best place to camp in the free camp area??

    Yeah you can buy unlimited amounts of alcohol and take it up to the campsite. I'd recommend buying a cheap cooler box (they range in sizes) and keeping your booze in there with a load of ice (which you can buy from the shaded bar at the bottom of the campsite). You obviously won't be able to take it into the arena though. You'll be stopped if you attempt that so I wouldn't bother
    There probably isn't any great place to camp. The ground is always dry and hard and there are loads of rocks, so don't expect a good sleep for the whole week. But get to the campsite early so you can nab a spot under the shaded parts. I camped right at the top in 8H (you can see the different sections on the campsite map on the official site), which was nice enough as the showers were in between us and the toilets so no bad smells
