In Higher Biology we have to carry out investigations and write up a report after. What happens with these and does the SQA mark them or something?

It's a small component of the course that you are required to pass in order to show a minimum competency in practical skills, much like a NAB. It doesn't actually count towards your overall grade, however, the SQA have been known to ask schools to provide them with proof that this assessment has been carried out, hence why most schools will require you to pass them.

    Oh thank you!

So they are just like NABS and do not need to be sent off? Only unless the SQA ask for them right?
