One would think for sure, yes. But then I wonder if attractive people have their own expectations and failures..

I knew a beautiful girl, the ultimate in attractive personality and appearance. She got engaged whilst we were at Uni - with a similarly charismatic guy I might add. But after graduation he, for a reason I never fathomed, dumped her. Of course she was devastated and the fact there were suddenly multiple guys emerging from the woodwork to comfort her was very little consolation..

As I look around me I think most people find happiness and attractive people have angst too. And of course stunning looks do come with a shelf life. Overall though, for some reason, I think it is still an advantage..

Usually being above average in anything is advantageous compared to those who are average in whatever context it's in.

    So yes.
