So I was on the injection for about 2 years, and then switched to Cerazette about 6 months ago.

Came off it about a month ago because I was having mood swings and despite being in a loving relationship, due to his depression sex was/is so rare that the mood swings weren't worth it.

I know that when I first went on it before the injection, I either had to be on or have 2 separate pregnancy tests before I could go on it.

However, we have not had sex since I came off it, so could i feasibly start up again now in preparation for our holiday next week? Don't want to get my hopes up too much but would like to be prepared in case we get carried away in the heat of the moment :P I know we are both clean so that isn't an issue...

yes you could, if you know you aren't pregnant. Taking it on the first day of your period means you will be fully protected. however, depending on your cycle, taking it on/after day five could mean you are not protected at all. If you are not on your period at all and don't know where you are in your cycle, start taking the pill now, before the holiday, but make sure you are still using protection if you have sex. if you don't have sex before your holiday...but take the pill everyday anyways, you will be fully protected by the time you go

it gets confusing but start to take it and just don't have sex for a while and then you know for definite you won't get pregnant.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
