    Hiya

Although I have posted this in another part the forum, but i have firmly deicded to take the following a-levels as my options.
    A-level English
    A-Level Psychology
    A-level Sociology

if anyone who studied these subjects before or are studying them now, please could make yourself known to me, it would be nice to have group of buddies that help and support me these tough times.

Do you think these options are sufficent for social work?

i was thinking about that option but realised that not many unis take it as formal subjects and i would do it formally and by unit.

I take psychology and English language. I love them. You'll need to work quite hard, but it'll be worth it

You have a great set of opinions for your future career

You are right, unis don't really like health and social care, but it shouldn't matter too much provided you're not applying to Oxbridge/top other unis e.g. UCL, LSE...
Otherwise your other options are fine, but top unis might not like Psychology/Sociology as much, but as I've already said so long as you're not applying to say, top 5 unis, that's fine.

Are you doing english language, english literature, or the 2 combined, as they are all very different

At the end of the day, I would go with what you enjoy, or what you think you'll enjoy, as this will be what you'll get the highest result in

In that case, I think you pretty much have to do biology and/or physics if you're considering those as a degree. You actually don't need psychology or sociology alevels to do either at degree level. And you also don't need english for law, as almost all unis will accept science-based subjects. If you're really serious about biology/physics I would recommend doing biology or physics, unfortunately you have to basically do physics, maths, biology and chemistry as many unis will want both biology and chemistry for biology and physics and maths for physics.
With psychology and sociology your options are fine although some unis do want another science. You might want to look at this- it's published by the Russell Group of unis and lists good subjects to choose for specific degrees
