Glasgow VS Liverpool VS Newcastle watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi There !

I got offers from University of Glasgow, Liverpool and Newcastle: Computer Science. I am going back and forth between the options.

    About me:

I am a pleasure seeker who loves having fun and living a city with friendly people. What do you suggest and why ?

    Thank You, Take Care

Read the course descriptions for each Uni carefully - not just the blurb on 'what this course is about, but the detailed unit/options descriptions and for all three years of the course. What units would you actually want to take if you went there? Do any of the Unis now seem a better idea than before?

Even if you do identify the 'fun loving city' amongst the three, if you are doing a course that you hate or just bores you to death, you'll have a miserable three years.

If you're wanting to have fun with friendly people then I'd suggest Newcastle, I'm from here and it's a vibrant place to live with a lot going on.

i personally have firmed Newcastle uni, not because of the city or being local, but because I loved the uni and the league tables are good. I'd personally say while the city is important, the course is more so, so place reliance on that. Look at the league tables and see if you can find and past/current students and get their experiences.
Do I go to The Streets tomorrow night?
