Hi i currently hold a place at king's for september. However my initial subject course is drastically different from what i now intend to study. I hope to switch to business management or international relations if possible. First of all is the business management course at king's college any good? some people have said that business management is a useless degree. is this true? And will international relation serve me better in the long run?

I have no experience with King's College so cannot comment on their particular degree program. But Business and Management/Business Management is far from a useless degree. It can incorporate a variety of different relevant and challenging modules; economics, psychology, economic & social history etc. On top of this you're learning about people management change management, strategy/culture, operations management, marketing etc. Maybe even statistics and the likes (depending on your universities program). All of these subjects are relevant in the world of Business. By no means is it a pointless degree.
