    Hi
I've had offers to study geoscience from imperial, cambourne school of mines and Southampton. Although on paper imperial has an outstanding reputation and the open days were impressive, having read some of the comments about the coursework, student life and the expense of living in London, I am having serious doubts about choosing to go there! Can anyone provide me with first hand experience of these unis and which one should I choose?

I would say go with the one you like best. If you don't like the thought of living in London then I'd advise you not to as after all, you're going to be there for 3/4 years of your life.

Obviously Imperial is the best however they're all very good universities and I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble finding a job afterwards with a degree from one of those 3!!

    Good luck
