I am currently working towards an Extended Diploma in Computing at college, aiming for D*D*D* which could potentially provide me with 380 UCAS points.

I did have a shot at A levels but did not achieve due to a number of distractions. I am now self teaching A level Maths with the help of a very generous tutor at my college, aiming for an A.

I excel in computing but have always wanted to follow a career in something health related. Is there any University courses that i can do with my potential qualifications that will lead to a career in this chosen field?
(For example Computer Science with Medicine etc?)

Another question, do you think there is any possibility I can follow a career as a Doctor?
I have been told this is now not possible but I have woken up and smelt the coffee and I am hoping for a chance to follow something I am very passionate about.

thanks for any replies in advance
