    No, I meant Churchill and appeasement. I didn't know if it was the same thing as the Munich Agreement... I was writing up revision notes and got stuck... But thank you

    Churchill was one of the only members of Parliament at the time who vehemently opposed appeasement. Never mind is right!

    Ahh was just checking and yeah churchill was the only voice against appeasement. Yet it still was a factor that led to conservative failure in 1945 election.

    Thank you I know that The First Lord Admiralty of the time resigned over it (I think this was Alfred Duff Cooper?). But, as it goes with Churchill in the 1930's, if the majority in government liked something, he hated it... Thank you ever so much
