I'm just wondering if anybody has studied Dance from Int 1/2/Higher as my PE & Guidance teacher is suggesting it would be a good idea for me to look into it for either a self-taught class for 5th Year or a filler subject for 6th Year which she'd be able to teach me.

Has anybody done the course and what were your opinions on it? Thanks

I know that Choreography is a core section for it then your teacher chooses from jazz, contemporary, highland and ballet to make up another two "units" essentially. That's all I learned from the SQA website, it wasn't very helpful

Can you dance any of them though? If you can I would say go for it, as long as it is not taking a lot of time away from your other subjects

I can do them all except from Highland, which I don't think is compulsory

I would say go for it then, if you are good at them it should be a breeze.

I haven't heard of many boys who can do jazz ballet and contemporary
